Animation

As this is the main character of the game he would require a lot of animations to properly convey his movement:

1. Idle animation - This will the animation that character will have when standing still, he would have his walking stick so this would mean that he is standing upright, however, his hospital gown will be flowing in the wind.

2. Limp animation - This would be the animation that the character will have when running. Because the character is injured from unknown circumstances he can't run properly so instead of running he limps his stick supports

3. Jump animation - Because the game will be a platform it would require the character to jump, what will happen in this animation is that his hand will go over his head so that he can grab on ledges.

4. leap animation - Once the character is in the jump animation they can interact with an object in top of them to leap over a platform or an obstacle.

The controls of the animation will be in the mechanic section

Cutscene animations

To better illustrate how the cutscenes in the game would work, I used animation to better illustrate how it would look, here are some of the examples.

1. The first animation shows the character looking up towards the light.

2. Then the character looks to his side.
 

3. This animation is the introduction to the gameplay, here the text says

press up to Jump and it will stay there as long as the player stands there idly.

4. This animation shows the character sitting there whilst intaking the scent, which is another mechanic being introduced.

5. This is the character at the start of the game looking for the scent, the clouds is supposed to illustrate the fog.

6. Here shows the character in the forest, the clouds is supposed to illustrate the fog.
