As I mentioned in my self improvement blog I mentioned that last semester I made quite a lot animations on my project, because I had to illustrate what my game would look like and I thought that using animation would help the audience and my classmates see my ideas more clearly. Though animation was quite a lot of work I really enjoyed the process of creating motion pictures, so that is a that is something I want I would like to continue further more into this semester I would like to make more mini animation projects to improve my animation skills.

For my first animation project I thought of start with something a little bit simpler which was too have a house with animated chimney smoking.

So what I did first was sketched the house I didn't use any inspiration or any sort of moodboards this just came from my head, the house was inspired by Jack in Daxter, so I sketched the house first one that envisioned in my mind and I used the HP pencil which was 24% and was 100% strength, then I used the syrup pen tool to create the black lines as you can see in the animation not traced it over the existing drawing after that I started painting the wood on each side first, then the chimney I used a light Brown for the Doran the wooden planks and a dark cream for the stones on the chimney and walls.

After that I started painting the tiles orange and used green for the for the vegetation surrounding.

After making the house I used grey to shade the bottom roof, windows at the top and the door, and the stones. After I created the design of the house I started animating the smoke that was coming from the chimney, I started with red circles on different directions and then I got a new layer and each circle that I drew I put one on top of it so it looked like that the circles are going up and each time there was a new circle going up, I'll put another circle at the bottom so it looks like the source the chimney is coming from the whole of the chimney my did this about 14 times so therefore had 14 frames, then after I animated the red circles I got new layers for each 14 layers and traced it's with a great colour so it looked like smoke.
