I was looking for more procreate animations surprisingly there's quite a lot of videos on animations in procreate but there is one video that I put simply found fascinating.

This video was made by Nikolai lonketsen and it shows a homeless man drinking a beverage whilst i snowing, and also in the animation there's a fire brewing as well.

He similarly does the same pipeline process that I came up and I wanted to see what sort of work someone would of come up with, with my pipeline process:

Sketch -> greyscale animation -> coloured animation -> final animation

I wanted to do something similar to that effect I had many ideas in my head what I wanted the animation to be, but what I my original plan was to have a cute cafe scene by where there is someone riding a bike and was the moving to across the screen, the people who are sitting down were supposed to be looking at the person whilst there riding their bike, but as a beginner I assumed that would be too ambitious for me so I scaled the project down too a biker cycling down the road now cobbled streets.

This is the drawing that I came up with for the background the setting was originally supposed to be in France butt be honest it could be found in any other European country, but later I changed it to more the old architecture that you see like New England autumn. I started conceptualising how I'm going to be doing the bicycle so I started off by drawing circles where the cross on each stage, I would rotate the cross until the final one is the same cross as the first one, and then it will repeat this will help me have a better framework at how I'm going to animate the tyres in the bicycle. I also made the pedals, I started off with two lines and those two lines on each end I sticked 1 short line, so look like a pedal I'm with each stage, I moved the line so don't like it's peddling after I got the pedal and the tyre I started creating the bicycle and I went back and forth and copied the tyre frame on the pedal frame, every it would move there would be around 7 to 8 frames and after the 8 frames I'll go I'll go back and repeat the cycle.

This is the character that I came up with for the animation the person is supposed to be me riding a bike after I got the environmental design the tyre and pedal frame drawings and the person on the bike did I sketched it was time to put it into procreate.

So I started out drawing the environment in procreate and after that I started drawing the bike I had a couple problems. Drawing the person on the bike peddling wouldn’t be possible because the lines were too long so if I drew the person feet paddling along it would look quite weird so I decided to have the person riding his bike with his feet hanging out this would make the animation bit more smoother.

I also began realise that my environment was perhaps a bit too big for the cycle animation, this would mean that I would have to go back to previous frames to get the animation right and because the person is quite small it will take quite a long time for the animation to be done, so I decided to cut the environment so the animation will be much shorter also be a lot more easier to export later on.

I started tracing the environment with a syrup pen just to make the lines more defined, after I got the Outline of the environment of the house is done, I put it into grayscale for the walls. I had it a lighter grey, and for the wood to have a darker grey.

After I was confident with the grayscale, I started colouring the environment, the environment consisted of mostly browns. Also made lights by using the syrup pen to orange colour and then use the haze effect to create lights, and because the environment will be touched upon the light I used different shades so some areas in the environment would more darker, finally I started painting the person on the bike and the and the bike itself, I went to the previous animation frames I made and traced over it and covered it as you can see there's a slight problem, the line kept going further and further and further down as I wasn't I didn't have a line across the street so I can have a bit more reference weather well the consistency of the bike going.
