today we learnt a bit more on team management although people assume that being a good manager into your very good technical skills but the reality is that you have to have quite good people skills to be a good manager or managing people essential job of being a manager is to bring the best the best potential of all the teammates and you can do this with different factors involved which includes consistency, respect, inclusion, honesty,


Consistency


“People the project team should all be treated in a comparable way. No one expects all awards to be identical but people should not feel that their contribution to the organisation is undervalued”


There will be people have tried different rankings in different positions they should all be treated the same and not treating them the same this causes conflict within the workplace writing down and dynamic which could affect the project itself.


Respect


“Different people have different skills and managers should respect these differences. All members of the team should be given an opportunity to make a contribution. In some cases, of course, you will find that people simply don’t fit into a team they can continue, but it’s important not to jump to conclusions about this at an early age in the project”


I’m collaborating with other individuals on a project it is safe to assume that people have different strengths and weaknesses and different skills which would break greatly benefit the project because of its diversity and though at times we might be work with people we might not necessarily like is important to have the utmost respect for them because this could affect the team dynamic and the project itself and if these people simply cannot work together in a productive manner and those people simply don’t fit into a team they can continue.


Inclusion


“People contribute effectively when they feel that others listen to them and take account of the proposal. It is important to develop a working environment where all views, even those of the most junior staff, are considered”


The team management more productive will be very beneficial to develop a working environment that all team members of a team are considered and contributing towards the projects.


Honesty


“as a manager, you should always be honest about what is going well and what is going badly in the team. He should also be honest about your level of technical knowledge and willing to defer to staff with more knowledge when necessary. If you try to cover up ignorance or problems will eventually be found out and lose respect of the group”


Even though honesty is a very good managerial skill to have it is important that every member of the team are honest with each other for not honest with each other then it won’t show the project’s potential as a hiding things from one another also having the manager who is not honest with their intentions would make the other team members more distrustful

The people in the team a much better assets than any technology without the people taking part in the project the whole system fails.


The task for the afternoon was to have a call with my team and create a info graphic graph of various aspects of the People’s management that we discussed today, is quite important to have this discussion about People’s management with the team guzzle and will help understand how you can help each other to develop and grow.
